New independent awards honor women across industries and countries for their societal, economic and environmental impact: „The She For Social Impact Awards”

Berlin, Germany  ––  28 January 2020  ––  The international platform „She For Social Impact“ launches the independent „She For Social Impact Awards“ that honor female professionals across countries in the fields of „Technology“, „Science“, „Finance“, „Business“ and „Culture“, whose impact-led works challenge the business as usual or status quo in their respective field to drive progressive solutions for creating a sustainable future. An international jury which is comprised of recognized experts, including among others Katjesgreenfood’s CEO, Dr. Manon Littek; Impact Hub Accra’s Co-founder and CEO Will Senyo and Earthbeat Foundation’s Chairwomen, Guya Merkle, will select the Awards nominees and later announce the winners of the „She For Social Impact Awards” at an exclusive event on June 3, 2020 in Berlin.

„To address the world’s most pressing issues and still prosper as society, we have to think and act collectively and put people and planet first”, says Nadine Bruder, founder of She For Social Impact and initiator of the Awards. „The world is at the brink of societal and economic disasters and only systemic changes in society will help. An increased collaboration across industries and regions, the use of science and new technologies for scale as well as the willingness to take bold actions and to overcome traditional boundaries have never been needed as much as today.“

Independence as well as human and professional quality are the core considerations for attributing the Awards. And the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the core of the Awards‘ communications. Winners of an Award are invited into the Advisory and Judging Board, creating an ever-growing international, cross-industry and diverse community of impact practitioners and role models.

So, She who is for Social Impact must be celebrated and recognized to ensure that more women rise to do what they are meant to do“, says Awards Advisory and Judging Board Member Pritika Kumar who is Advocate and Legal Counsel as well as Managing Director of Cornellia Chambers in Delhi, India.

The Awards nominees will be revealed in March 2020, and the first recipients of the honor will be announced and awarded at an exclusive event in Berlin on June 3, 2020.

ABOUT NADINE BRUDER

German-born award-winning strategist, entrepreneur and impact-led angel investor, who believes «sustainability» is the greatest opportunity for society and innovation in modern history. Nadine Bruder’s career began in 2008, when her first strategy work turned Steve Jobs into a fan of her client’s product, and when she turned MAN Truck & Bus into the first company that publicly acted upon smart cities, energy-efficient transportation and autonomous driving as we know it these days. Since then she has been consulting senior business leaders from internationally operating organizations, technology startups and investment firms.
