„If women don’t possess technology literacy, we will continue to understand, serve and reap the societal benefits of only half of our population. So imagine a society only at half of its capacity at half of its potential.“

Alisée de Tonnac
Co-Founder & CEO, Seedstars World (Switzerland)

#SFSIstayhome interview series

– These interviews are part of a series with award nominees done online during the global coronavirus lockdowns. –

Just two days after her company’s global flagship event, which award nominee Alisée de Tonnac, Co-Founder & CEO at Seedstars World in Switzerland, had to take online in less than three weeks, and almost ready to give birth, she met online with Nadine Bruder for a longer conversation. We broke it down into three different interviews – see them all down below.

In the first interview, Alisée talks about her journey as an impact-led entrepreneur, investing in talents and startups in emerging markets, the experiences gained from shifting her 2-day flagship event to remote and why it made the Seedstars World’s community more inclusive. Additionally, Alisée shares her personal view on the future of startup programs and investments in innovation.

In these two interviews here below, Alisée shares some great advise given to her in life, what motivates her, and she talks about the value that women add to society among other interesting perspectives of hers.
